What you need to know

The street circuit runs through Main Beach and Surfers Paradise. The secured precinct is scheduled from 12:01 am Friday 23 October until 11:59 pm Sunday 25 October, which also affects access to some accommodation inside the circuit.

General admission, fanstand and reserved grandstand products are available. Buy admission from Supercars, not through this site. If your accommodation is inside the circuit, ask the property how check-in and vehicle access will work during the secured period.

Surfers Paradise

Best for walking access and nightlife. Confirm whether a property sits inside the secured circuit and ask about arrival restrictions.

Broadbeach

A practical base south of the circuit with G:link access and more separation from the event precinct.

Southport

Useful north-west of the circuit, with tram stops and a less nightlife-focused atmosphere.

Getting there

Plan around the G:link rather than driving to the precinct. Main Beach, Surfers Paradise North, Cypress Avenue and Cavill Avenue are useful stations depending on your gate and accommodation. Translink says eligible Gold Coast Supercars event tickets can include event travel, but check the 2026 event listing and conditions before relying on it.

Street parking is limited and event construction changes local access. Do not use an old road-closure map: consult the official community page and Translink journey planner again during event week.

A sensible arrival plan

  1. Save your ticket and confirm the named entry gate.
  2. Check the current event map and service changes the evening before.
  3. Allow extra time for bag checks and walking through the street precinct.
  4. Carry sun protection, hearing protection and a refillable water bottle if permitted.
  5. Arrange a meeting point in case mobile service becomes congested.

Frequently asked

Is this the official event website?

No. Event Field Guide is independent. Use Supercars for tickets, final schedules and event rules.

Can children attend?

Supercars currently advertises free general admission for children aged 12 or under when accompanied by a paying adult. Check the conditions for your chosen ticket product before purchase; do not assume grandstand seating is included.

What should I check for accessible entry and viewing?

Use the current Supercars event map and ticket information, and contact the organiser before buying if you need step-free entry, wheelchair viewing, companion access or accessible seating. Arrangements can change; do not rely on an older map or another year's event guide.

Should I hire a car?

Not solely for attending the race. The circuit is served by the G:link and event access limits make parking inconvenient. A car may still suit a wider Gold Coast trip.
