Getting there

Transport for NSW says the daily Armidale XPLORER between Sydney and Armidale stops at Tamworth. Reserve the correct service and check the current timetable rather than relying on a festival guide for rail availability.

For movement during the festival, the organiser recommends Festival Express and Transport for NSW notes that a festival shuttle serves major venues and accommodation. Check the official 2027 routes, fares, wristband conditions and accessible-travel information when they are current.

At our October review, the organiser's bus timetable and route-map links still referred to the 2026 festival. Treat those as background, not confirmed 2027 services or prices.

If you drive or fly, plan the final leg separately. Temporary road controls and busy kerbs can make a central door-to-door car plan less convenient than it looks, especially when several venues are involved.
